Running Free

A while ago I mentioned what I want to accomplish a lot of running this summer.
I am really excited to be keeping up with my training and reaching my goals.

I am not good. After about ten minutes on the treadmill I am dying to walk. But a little running is better than no running right?

I am going to start tracking my miles. But what is actually nice about running?
The feeling of actually not wanting junk food after running.
The feeling of not being lazy.
The feeling of freedom.

It is just taking that first step that is hard...

I never look like that though...
Another nice thing. You can eat!

So therefore, go run!

  2. Good job running! I usually stop after 10 minutes and walk too. I walk 5, run 10, walk 5 then run another 10, cool down and walk 5. That's my usual routine and its enough to complete a 5k! Try it! :)

  3. Love, love, LOVE this post!! Running is the best stress reliever. Even on days when I am crabby and just want to pop in a movie, I ALWAYS am happier when I opt to go for a run!


  4. Woo! Way to go! The first step is always the hardest, but once youre out there it is great! Tracking your miles is such great motivation! Now you have us to keep you in check ;) the being able to eat more is my motivation!

  6. I suck at running, but always feel great after a cardio or dance workout DVD! My problem is actually getting motivated to do any of it, haha. So props to you and congrats on the award! :)
