New Home, New To-do List

When I moved into my new house I made a list of things I wanted to do. I did not put them on my blog, and therefore I was not very accountable on my goals. On this list, the only thing I succeeded on was #3.
I am going to put it here on the blog so that I can make myself for accountable.

1. Work out at least 4 times a week
Despite the fact that I am moving away from my gym, I can't let it be an excuse not to work out.

2. Complete one Pinterest projects a month With all of the thousands of pins and likes I have on pinterest, it is a shame I haven't attempted and completed more projects!

3. Learn to cook five different meals Now that I'm all grown up (and no longer on a college budget) I owe it to myself, my body, and Kevin to learn to better cook.
I will continue this one!

4. Read at least one book a month I realize one book may not seem like much, but between working a full time job, working out, and other activities, I think this is a realistic goal. If I read more, then I will feel better about myself! Go me!

5. Create and keep a set schedule It is so easy to really do whatever you want, when you want, when living on your own. If I make a set schedule of when I wake up, when I go to the gym, when I eat, shower, clean, etc. then I will definitely feel more productive (and not be so lazy!)

6. Make our new house feel like home Since we have only been here four nights (newbie) I want to ensure that I make it feel like home.

I think having a "fun" to do list will help me settle in and ease into this new transition in life! It will definitely make it more interesting. Anything else I should add to the list?

Oh and do you want some fantastic bloggers to meet? How about these ladies?

  3. I agree with Hilda....relaxation time for yourself is just as important as the to-do list itself. :-)

  4. I totally feel ya on the one book/month! I originally was hoping to get 30 in this year, and I can't seem to read more than 1, 1 and a half per month. Whoops?

I think one/month is a much more realistic goal :)

  6. Great list! I started doing this link up - Saw it Pinned it Did it - and it makes me remember to do one Pinterest project a week. You should do it too! :)

As for working out, I hate the gym by our new house so I started doing other things like Pilates and Barre and even do some workout vids - Jillian Michaels is pretty good!

  7. Great list! One of my goals right now is to find the time to read more.
I think you should add 1 or 2 monthly date nights where you take turns each month surprising each other :)

  8. Our To-Do lists look very similar! Definitely the Pinterest and making my house more "me" ones.

  9. I pin stuff all the time and NEVER try it. Fail.

  10. I love the promise of a new home! It's like a wonderful blank slate just waiting to be made into your own. Have fun with that! :)
And p.s. I only get through about a book a month too. I'd love to be one of those people that whips through like one a week, but that is never going to happen.

  11. That is a great to-do list! Just think, if you accomplish everything on that list you will be SO well-rounded! I'm inspired to make a list like that for myself :)
