Strengths and Weaknesses

So right now I have an interesting thing weighing on my mind. It is about possible changing positions within my current company. But that aside it got me thinking about interviewing and how I am so glad I wouldn't have to do that again.

I hate interviewing. I never know how to answer all those standard questions.

How do you handle stress and pressure?
I go home and watch TV, run, eat chocolate, and drink?

What are your salary expectations?
Uhhh as much as I can get...

Describe a typical work week.
Sleep, eat, work, eat, work, watch tv, drink, eat, and start all over again for five days.

Funny Workplace Ecard: The morning is a success if I make it to lunch without eating my lunch.

What are your strengths?
Blogging. Sleeping, Pinning things on Pinterest.

What are your weaknesses?
Reese's cups, more Reese's cups, and happy hour.

Name the time you overcame a weakness.
This morning when I didn't eat the whole bag of Reese's cups...

See why I would need a lot of luck on an interview?
How do you make it through an interview?

  1. Haha I would love to see the reaction of an interviewer if you really did answer that way! Honesty isn't ALWAYS the best policy :)

  2. LOL! I haven't done an interview in 11 years and I am totally freaked out by even the thought of having to do one. A lot of my responses would sound like yours!

  3. As a recruiter I would be highly entertained with your weakness answer. You have no idea how many people respond they don't know their own weakness.

  4. Haha! First of all, I love the card- that is so me!! You know, I think if I had to go through another interview, I would probably just be so brutally honest, like your answers, and just hope that they appreciated honesty. lol

  5. LOL I would lovelovelove to see an interviewer's face if you answered any of those questions - but especially the strengths question - in that honest way. :D

  6. Interviews are pretty much no fun at all. I avoid them when possible, but they're a necessary part of life!

  7. Haha. This is great! I HATE interviews. I always feel like I'm being too proud... Or too hard on myself... Or just being dumb.
