Time

Time.
There is never enough.

I guess I took an unofficial blog break. I don't like that I did. I shouldn't be so hard on myself. But it wasn't like I needed it. My blog doesn't stress me. It does the opposite. Sure I want big numbers and people to read, but it doesn't really pan out and it is because I let it die going around and not posting regularly. Helene keeps her "kid" healthier than mine so to speak.

I would like to get into being healthy blog wise. I am pretty sure I can do it, but for those of you starting out or not knowing why your blog isn't "getting big" it is because these girls put a lot of time, money, and effort into their blogs.

Time has been what I have been lacking lately. (I always lack money, but another story for another time...)
Work has been my kid lately. I have put in 80+ hour weeks not leaving anything or anytime for myself. Is this healthy or totally enjoyable? No, but sometimes you gotta put in your due time. Due time includes learning. I have learned a lot these past couple of months and feel I can balance better next time around during my work busy season.

I still have a couple weeks to go for busy season. But I knew I needed to make the time for this post today. Many people may not read this post, but I know I posted for me.

And if you do read this blog and enjoy it, I truly thank you. It makes me happier than you may know. I will be back and better than ever soon!!!

  1. I use to see others with big blog numbers and thought about how it would be cool to be that but then a lot of those people allow their blogs to go to their heads and I'm starting to see that more and more. I'll blog when I can, about what I want and hopefully people stick with me and read me :)

  2. 80+ hour weeks? Dang, how many shifts is that? Angel's worked 16 hour days at the hospital before but that's very rare--of course, he's never the type to work extra unless he really has to! Hope life slows down a little for you!

  3. I feel the same way...not enough time (or energy for me). I used to want to grow my blog to this big, huge thing, but it is a lot of work and I just don't have the time to put into it. Unlike you, it does stress me out. I've tried to back off and just enjoy it and work on quality above all else.

  4. 80+ hours in a week! Wow, I don't know how you do it. Blogging does take a lot of time, energy, and thought - I loved Helene's post about that because sometimes it really does feel like that. I'll keep reading your blog even if you only post once a month :)
