Cleaning my Wedding Ring

My rings mean so much to me. I love my engagement ring that Kevin surprised me with. Looking down everyday is a reminder of how much he loves me. Then there is my wedding band that I got to look like my mother's.
My late grandmother, me, my mom

Well looking down almost everyday. Sometimes I don't always wear them working and sometimes if I know it is going to get super hot I don't wear them. For some reason I swell like no ones business. When it is cold they are loose and when it is hot the constrict. Yay weird fingers...not!

Anyway, I used to be the person to clean my rings in the jewelry solution or ensure that I went and got it done by the jeweler. But it got to be a lot of hassle and more money than just DIYing it.

And yes, you can DIY safely and effectively!

You can use ammonia I have heard. I have been too nervous to do so though. I instead use some water and dish soap in this jewelry cleaner.

They aren't paying me to say this, but it really works and works splendidly and for an EXCELLENT cost in my mind.

This post was brought to you by the word tada!
Have a great weekend!

  2. I love that your band matches your moms! So special! I'm horrible about cleaning my rings so I should look into this cleaning method!

  3. I never clean my ring enough! And it has all these little nooks and crannies that get dirty. My sister-in-law always lets hers soak in vodka and scrubs it with a toothbrush and that helps!
