Best Guacamole Ever

I generally consider myself pretty modest.

But let me say this once. I make the best classic guacamole out there. Take it or leave it.
I recommend you take it!

This picture seriously looks fake, I have no idea what setting I was messing with on my darn camera...

Guacamole by any stretch of it is not a hard thing to make no matter how you do it, but I unfortunately have been making this for so long that I don't measure anything. I do it all by taste. It is an art.

I am a guacamole artist if you will...

But since directions like that wouldn't be very helpful to you, I actually tried to measure everything out. Which should be helpful since it would be hard for anyone else but me to follow a recipe that only exists in my brain.

This is a recipe that I pull out as often as I can. Especially for football!
First game is tonight!

Ingredients:

3-4 large avocados
1 tsp salt
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 large tomato (chopped)

Directions:

Cut and core your avocado. I use a spoon to scoop the avocado out. Then with a fork, mash up the avocado in a bowl.

Once mashed, add salt, lime juice, and diced tomatoes. Stir well. Do a taste test and add any extra you require.

Serve and enjoy immediately!

  1. I am not a guac fan at all however I tried it fresh down in mexico and it wasn't bad. So I'll need to try it fresh up here and see if I still can stand it ;)

  3. Simple and classic! I make ultra-lazy guacamole, usually just as a snack for myself--a chopped avocado mixed with pepper and a couple spoonfuls of my favorite spicy salsa. :P
