A Quick Trip to LA

After going to Santa Barbara I explored LA a little bit. I think for me, I am just not an LA girl, but I can check it off my list of been there, done that.

Flying in and out is a beast of its own. LA airport sure is BUSY.

I am probably not qualified to give any advice on going to LA because I was there for so short a time and realized quickly it was not my place. I went out to Malibu and found that a little bit more enjoyable.

Saw: Venice Beach, Hollywood Sign, Beverly Hills, The Sunset Strip

If you visit Malibu a must visit is the Adamson House (admission is free!). Very pretty!

What do you think of LA and the LA area?
What are some of your favorite things to do in LA?

  1. I have yet to visit Cali and we had a vision of starting off in San Fran/Napa and making our way down and hitting everything, including LA until we flew out of San Diego...but then hubby booked an all inclusive instead, ha! Sounds like a fun trip!!

  2. I'm not a huge fan of LA proper but I have to say, it is fascinating to see the area and all the people and glitz and glam. I totally see the draw of California - it's beautiful! I'm hoping to get to northern California the next time I head that way. Beautiful pictures! :)

  3. I have to disagree with you on this one Lauren. I *love* LA and would shape travel plans around spending time there! I especially fell in love with Santa Monica. Running along the beach there was one of the best sets of miles I've ever done, and Santa Monica Pier is one of my A1 happy places!

  4. I enjoyed visiting LA, and I hope we get to go again!

  5. Ah you should have let me know! One of my besties lives in Huntington Beach! I'm not a fan of being IN LA, but I love the surrounding areas. Get ready, when I'm done with grad school, I'm planning to end up there and I expect a few visits from you :P

  6. the only thing i liked about being in l.a. was santa monica and pacific palisades pier.

Comments make my day!
Thanks for the love <3
