Taking care of yourself can be something we put on the backburner.
Sometimes, even with the best of intentions, things don’t always happen as we hoped and planned.
Since tearing my ACL I have learned a huge lesson about the importance of taking care of myself, because there is no point in working if you aren't building a good life.
I have found that I have to focus to make everything happen.
Remember this post? I have finally made it happen to start focusing and working on myself.
I need to have strength. I need to feel good about myself. I need to have energy. Otherwise, all my big and exciting plans can get pushed back on the backburner.
This doesn't mean I am successful everyday. Some days I kill it. I am on top of my game and doing work that feels crazy purposeful and super effective. Those are my favorite!
Some days, life gets in the way. We do our best to plan ahead, be prepared, and have systems in place but things fall apart.
All and all though, today I want to encourage you to remember to take care of you.
I have been doing that. So just know that on this blog, sometimes it takes me a couple days to reply to you but I love everyone's support in my quest for happiness in writing on this blog. I encourage you guys to do the same!
