Football is Back!

We live and breathe football in our house. I am so excited it is back. Last season was a great one as a Broncos fan, let's hope this year doesn't disappoint! There is not a game that goes unseen and a chance to celebrate that goes un-celebrated! We usually homegate rather than go to games, but I like days filled with ongoing fun, food, and football. If you are planning on having a football party this year, consider these Big Game Homegating must haves to make the most of your day:

A Good Recipe: Cheesy Cheese Crisps

Ingredients:

2 eggs
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of flour (or almond flour or crushed pork rinds for low carb)
1/3 teaspoon of baking powder

Directions:

Add eggs to large bowl and whisk until beaten.

Add cheeses, flour, and baking powder and mix well.

Roll into a ball and place on greased baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown at 400 degrees. Serve with a chili dipping sauce, salsa, or any other fun dippers you can think of!

Stock Up Your Bar:
Food is the staple of any football party, but you should provide a variety of drinks for your guests. Keep it flowing!

Dress Up:
Make sure you have your apparel/colors in full force!

Festive Themed Decor:
Wave your flag and keep your decor in full force!

Impress With The Set Up:
My engineer puts up two TVs side by side so we can see all the action and go back and forth!

  2. My husband likes to buy antagonizing tee-shirts from Amazon - anything that has to do with the Chiefs destroying other teams haha we don't do a ton of football stuff, but I always make pulled pork nachos for the games :)

  3. Sadly, I may be the only gridiron fan in my area. It's tough supporting LSU and New Orleans from a squillion miles away. Geaux Tigers! Who Dat!
