Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Initially I had no plans on posting this recipe. I was just making this sandwich because I was hungry. I then realized it was too delicious and beautiful not to post! Fortunately my camera phone was close by and I snapped a few quick pictures. This is a really simple recipe and a great way to take your regular old sandwich to the next level.

I ended up using telera rolls for this recipe. Living in the southwest Telera rolls are common. They are softer on the inside and crispier on the outside than French Bread and are perfect for hot sandwiches. The bread is most often used for what is called a torta. This is a Mexican Sandwich and a very yummy staple in my house that I will have to share a recipe for soon!


1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
5 tablespoons of buffalo sauce (I use Frank's Red Hot)
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
slider or Telera rolls (mexican bread rolls used for tortas)
sliced tomatoes
ranch/blue cheese dressing (optional)


Cook and shred your chicken in a bowl. While warm toss in sauce.

Then add mozzarella and cream cheese and stir together until melted.

Slice rolls and place sliced tomato, lettuce, and chicken mixture onto bread. Drizzle with some ranch or blue cheese if you want and.....
